My daughter Indy has had lessons with Liz from the age of two (now six) and adores it. Liz’s use of music, movement and games in her lessons are incredible which makes learning fun and easy. Liz is the kindest, most professional teacher and really engages students of all ages. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone.

We think Liz is super!!! My son has had Spanish lessons with Liz for the past two years to study GCSE Spanish. Archie has not only gained a grade 8 he has also gained such enthusiasm for the language which has led him to continue his studies at sixth form. My son says ‘Liz is kind, very supportive and yet challenges you at the same time. I really looked forward to my lessons with her. Liz teaches in perfect detail and is so motivating. If you want to achieve high GCSE grades in Spanish then go to Liz’.
We would absolutely recommend Liz to anyone who wants to learn Spanish … we cannot speak highly enough of her!!!

Liz is an incredible teacher and person. Since my last review in 2015 I now have 3 daughters who all have Spanish lessons with Liz, we have been going for over 10 years now. My children absolutely love their Spanish lessons. They love learning with Liz. Liz has a fascinating ability to adapt to each of their ages and bring the best out in them. I’ve been having lessons with Liz for over 5 years now and it is the highlight of my week! She has not only helped me to improve my Spanish but also my confidence by creating a relaxed and supportive environment. If you are looking for an enjoyable and amazing Spanish teacher I would 100% recommend Liz to anyone. I can’t wait to continue Spanish into A-levels next year and hopefully further on too!

Liz is an absolutely amazing teacher who has helped me improve my Spanish in a big way, especially recently, in time for my GCSE exams; thanks to her, I get to take Spanish further to A Levels! I cannot reccomend her enough to anyone in the area who wishes to learn this amazing language.

Liz helped me greatly with my A-Level Spanish, especially throughout the difficult environment of the pandemic, making lessons challenging but engaging despite being over Zoom. After studying with Liz for 11 years, I have been able to vastly improve my spoken Spanish in a way that is limited in larger classroom settings, and without her help I would not have done as well in Spanish as I did. Liz fosters a welcoming, encouraging atmosphere for learning, and has equipped me with tools for studying Spanish alongside History at university.

Doing my Spanish A-Level during the pandemic was very challenging, however Liz remained fab throughout! My lessons moved on to Zoom, but they were still engaging with an immense variety of content. I think the lessons helped me to drastically improve my spoken Spanish. Liz's enthusiasm for Spanish is always evident and she has a fantastic bank of resources for students in and outside of the classroom. I'm now studying Spanish and Portuguese at university and I don't think this would be the case if I hadn't been to lessons with Liz. Her passion for everything Spanish has, without a doubt, been passed on to me and I'm very grateful for everything she has taught me and supported me with. I couldn't recommend her highly enough!

I have been learning Spanish with Liz for 9 years on and off now and I received my GCSE results this summer. Thanks to the constant support that Liz has provided me with I managed to achieve the top grades in my overall Spanish grade. She has taken so much time to help me and so many other students perfect their knowledge and makes learning a new language extremely enjoyable. She has fuelled my interest in Spanish culture by incorporating songs and other interactive activities from when I was little. She is also very patient and understanding with her students and has taken the time to recommend resources to me that I can use to further my learning outside of the classroom that I would never have previously heard of. Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking for something more challenging I couldn’t recommend her enough. I can’t wait to carry on my Spanish skills into A level and hopefully beyond!

I have been having lessons with Liz for around 8 years now. Having already had several years of practice before starting my GCSEs it was obvious that I had a huge head start over other people in my class, this also took a lot of pressure off me when I started my exams and meant that I could put more focus onto other subjects. After 8 years learning Spanish I now feel very confident in conversation, reading and listening and enjoy the sense of satisfaction when I am able to communicate in Spanish. Having lessons with Liz has made learning another language fun and easy and it is one of the most useful skills to have. Thanks Liz for all of your hard work and time over the years!
